I feel three is a good number & having three dogs somehow seems just right. I was proved right when Kuhu was with us for over a week.
What do our children do when they go over to stay in their friend’s place ? Or when their friends stay over in our place ? Unrestricted play & complete party time isn’t it ? Mia & Kuhu became such great friends that they kept breaking out in play mode every now & then. Even @ 10.30 pm in the dead of night they will be rolling around outside our house……….when things get a bit noisy, then Messrs Magic would come into the scene.
Magic & Mia are such wild rascals who love to disobey, whereas with Kuhu just one look, or just one whistle, or just one clap, or just one sign is enough ….. she is indeed very happy to obey & she wants to obey.
With many dogs Magic & Mia do not have any chemistry. Mia has a very secure personality when it comes to other canines, she has the ability to ignore & doesn’t feel the need to engage herself with each & every canine which comes in her way. On the other hand Magic is a very, very dangerous proposition. If there is no chemistry he is capable of pulverizing the other dog. I’ve been an unfortunate witness of such acts of brutality by Messrs Magic. Once i had to throw a chair at him so that he doesn’t hurt the other dog more. Many times after these embarrassing fracas’s i am the one who is left to do the profuse apologies to the shocked human companion. He can never be taken for granted.
Now look at them enjoying a meal together……
peace, love & three is company !!
