Now that we’ve got caught up with our own lives & have lost all our sense of humour, what can one say to the one who brings in that smile to our sullen faces ?
Not just a smile, she makes us laugh…. she is our in-house comedian & she is Mia. This is only for people who know her, however for people who don’t know her she is quite a handful, she becomes friends only after one stays in our house for a while…….
Mia is one of the most expressive canines that i’ve come across. She is an expert with all the following looks & many more….
The ‘pleading’ looks
The ‘trying to impress’ looks
The ‘Oh no, what have i done’ look
The ‘diva’ look
The ‘predator on the prowl’ look
The ‘i am hungry’ look
The ‘can i also taste what you’re eating’ look
The ‘playful’ look
The ‘sleepy’ look
The ‘scary’ look
The ‘come play with me’ look
The ‘don’t mess with me’ look
The ‘guard dog’ look
The ‘WTF’ look
The ‘joyful’ look
The ‘soulful’ look
The ‘caring’ look
The ‘yes. i am waiting’ look
Here are few of my favourite snaps of her over the last two years.
At the break of dawn when she wakes up hearing me getting ready to take them for a walk…… she gets out of bed & does her stretches, flaps her ears, climbs on to my knees & places her head on my shoulder almost like a hug, then looks into my eyes & gently plants kiss on my lips. In our otherwise boring & mundane lives she is our rock star !
Happy birthday Mia
